THE THINKING INSIDE THE TRAP
Small structural details have a purpose.
Here’s the idea behind the Ratorus design.
Raised openings are designed to let rodents enter before contacting the adhesive, then drop onto the floor below.
Small openings and a covered, dark interior limit incoming light—a deliberate part of the design.
Multiple entrances and the raised entry height are intended to support multiple captures and reduce blockage at the openings.
The design uses an adhesive floor for capture. A replaceable glue layer is included in the patent’s third claim.
Design features reflect U.S. Patent 12,256,726 B2. Final product specifications, refill options, and use instructions will be confirmed before launch.
